Le lieu-dit Les Vannades est une terrasse en pente douce qui s'étend sur l'ancien lit de la tumultueuse Durance. Protégée des crues par des digues installées au 19ème siècle par notre aïeul Henri d'Herbès, c'est un terroir bien drainé composé de fins limons recouvrant une gravière profonde. Les vins de ce terroir sont fins et aromatiques.
